TURINGS TIJGERS

TURINGS TIJGERS is a performance for music lovers as well as for dance lovers. The audience are wooed into letting themselves be carried away in a performance about necessity and passion, but also about distance and inspiration. Nine musicians of the Maarten Altena Ensemble, in an unusual combination varying from electric guitar to recorder and trombone, provide live accompaniment on the stage. Composer Maarten Altena wrote several new compositions specially for this performance. The costumes for this choreography have been designed by AZIZ who has collaborated with them on two previous occasions.
